India's Mega ISKCON Yatra Kitchen
Shri Gauranga Das has organized selfsufficient, low cost, high quality kitchens (up to 5000 square feet area) and sanctified food in the annual Yatras of the ISKCON Chowpatty temple. This Kitchen was featured on National Geographic Channel as one of India’s Mega Kitchen. He has personally cooked more than 3.5 million plates of sanctified vegetarian meals (prasadam) in the 2007-2024 period in temple and Yatra kitchen.
He also revamped the Kitchen Standards at ISKCON Chowpatty by designing and executing a state of the art kitchen with recent equipment and created systems for managing recipes. For this he also obtained ISO 22000 certification for excellence in Quality Management Systems for food safety
